| Secondo quanto riportato in una conversazione sui canali IRC, pare che il famoso hacker KaKaRoTo abbia trovato una "rivoluzionaria soluzione" (parole sue) per jailbreakare tutti i firmware presenti e futuri della Playstation 3. L'autore ci informa che occorre ancora lavarci molto su e non può quantificare quanto, in ogni modo non rilascerà alcuna informazione per il momento ne tantomeno qualcosa per i firmware attuali dato che non ci sono i motivi per farlo.
